Lily enjoys the outside and spends time walking in the English countryside.
Her fascination with colour causes her to photograph the many flowers she sees on her travels, capturing the colour combinations that are the beginnings of her abstracts. Starting with these photographic images the paintings derive from the flow of the paintbrush and colours. Using a very limited pallet allows the colours to complement each other over layers and layers of texture and hues.
