‘Neon Orb I’ was one of the first coloured neon sculptures Mark Beattie made. With the neon works Mark Beattie hides the wires & the transformer for the light. Ensuring the viewer cannot see how it is being powered. All the copper is rolled by hand and made around the neon so each piece is unique.

The neon light compliments Mark Beattie’s sculptures, adding to the movement of a piece and catching the viewers eye.
