This is an original painting on canvas using acrylic paint, dry pigment and metal powders which have been rusted to create texture. Inspired by an artist residence in Cape Cornwall, Judith’s painting is a visual response to her surroundings rather than a traditional approach to a landscape. Spontaneous brushstrokes and layering of materials create a space the viewer can journey through.
