From the ancient “Ainu” mythology, the indigenous people of the Northern parts of Japan. A race of hunters, farmers, fishermen and gatherers who espoused a life of perfect harmony with nature. In Ainu mythology the carefree and generous “Repun Kamui” is identified as their “God of the Sea” providing a bounteous harvest for all Ainu fishermen.
